Easter at KBC 2021

On behalf of the KBC Church family, I would like to thank all those who poured so much of their gifts and time into putting together our online Easter Service. Thank you to Sam, Liz, Simon, Andrew, Jacob, Edgar, Janet and Ava for your time in recording your various parts for the music and again to Sam, Liz and Simon for your endless hours editing the content and pulling it all together. Also, thank you to Mike, Phil and Kristy for your willingness to record our scripture readings.

I am so thankful for the amazing team of volunteers we have here at KBC, and know that your efforts will not go unnoticed by our God, and we will continue to pray for an ongoing fruitfulness as the songs, scripture and words that were shared will continue to take root in the lives or those who have and will continue to view our Easter Service.

Stories of rescue have a way of captivating and inspiring us. This is the message of Easter, where when it appeared that all hope was lost, the impossible happened! We personally want to invite you to join us Easter Sunday as we celebrate the empty tomb, the risen Saviour and our rescue.

Whatever has or hasn’t happened this past year, you can come as you are. WE WELCOME YOU and are here for you. If you are struggling, don’t do it alone. Please reach out to us by email, phone or social media.

UPDATE: Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, the Elders at KBC have discerned that we will prioritise safety over the yearning of gathering together in person. As a result, we will continue to meet Easter Sunday online only and we will not hold an in-person service this year.

We sure do! You can do this simply by sharing on social media like Facebook, sharing our promo video through YouTube, messaging our website someone or emailing a PDF invite (download using the button below). 

You can simply share the Facebook event, or the link of the Facebook/YouTube video whilst you're watching live. But you can also host a Watch Party where you can watch the service with friends, family and neighbours. This creates an event where you can all watch it at the same time and can comment with one another. Find out more and how to make one by clicking here.

You bet! Our kids will celebrate Easter in their regular Sunday class via Zoom at 9.30 am.
