We are a praying church. It is an important that we pray continually and pray for one another.

It is amazing we can approach God in prayer whenever and wherever we are. God hears our prayers and delights in them. There is nothing too big or too small to pray for. Jesus instructs us how to pray (Matthew 6:9-15), and within that there is the opportunity to bring our requests before Him. That is why here at KBC we are a praying church—where we soak everything we do in prayer—because we cannot do anything without God.

14 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him. — 1 John 5:14-15

Prayer Corner

As a church, we have committed to making prayer a priority. Prayer connects us with our Saviour and also connects us with each other. Each week in the newsletter we will have prayer requests that will focus on a different ministry, leader and event. Please join together with us as we lift up KBC in prayer.

Weekly Prayer Focus:

  • Please keep the Wickens family in your prayers this week. Please pray for Phil in his role as an Elder, for Claire that her treatments will be effective and that the cancer is eradicated, and for Haley and Jaden for their schooling.
  • Please pray for our Kids Ministry; for Claire, Michelle and Colleen as they faithfully teach our kids online each Sunday. Please also pray for the kids as they learn Gods word and begin their journey walking with the Lord.
  • Please pray for our Pop-Up Clothing and Food Giveaway Event with the Food Bank. Due to recent restrictions we aren't able to have our April event; but please be in prayer that we will be able to open our doors and welcome people in for the May 15th event! Please pray for the families who will be attending and the volunteers serving.

6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:6-7
