VISION FAQs

• Jump in! We want and need everyone to participate in Vision 2020 at each stage. Here are some examples of how:

• PRAISE
• We encourage regular attendance of Sunday service either in-person or on Facebook
• We want you to share our FB service with others
• Give your testimony or join the worship team

• PARTNER
• Join an in-person/online small groups or Bible studies. By building bonds we strengthen each other and collectively KBC
• Join the partnership program to connect 1-to-1 with another brother/sister in KBC
• You can also Partner with others by welcoming new people and serving in any of our ministries like mission and compassion activities

• PREPARE
• Prepare yourself by growing in your knowledge and through practice. You can equip yourself for leadership by receiving training, for example you can join a focused study group like Biblical Eldership
•  Assist in the kids and youth ministries to prepare others
• Disciple one another
• Discover and develop your spiritual gifts - we have resources available if you don't know what your gifting is

• PROCLAIM
• Live out your faith and be an example
• Share your testimony of the gospel at work and in your life with others
• Volunteer in ministries and get involved with missions and compassion projects

Here are some other ways to participate:

• Do you have a great idea? Then please share it with us and allow KBC to guide you and partner with what God has placed on your heart.
• Continue to pray for God’s plan to take root and actively find ways to assist. For example:
• Do you love to worship? Then join the worship team and Praise!
• People need people! Build one another up in fellowship and Partner together!
• Do you have a gift of teaching or mentorship? Then help Prepare others!
• We have a great God so spread the word and Proclaim His Name!
• Invest your time, talent and treasures.

• Praise (or Worship) will most likely be a Newcomers first experience in our church. By seeing how we passionately worship a great God, we hope they will be drawn to learn more about God and our congregation. 
• As we welcome Newcomers and try to Partner with them, our goal is to show genuine interest in their lives and to connect them with our small groups and ministries as soon as possible. 
• It is up to each one of us to Proclaim through being a living example of how to live passionately for God.
• Experiencing Praise at both in-person services and online streaming services.

• Small groups will be the main way to partner with our congregation or and new people newcomers. We are launching 2-3 small groups in October alongside our regular small groups.
• For those not in a small group we encourage them to join our Partnership Program. The Partnership Program will involve 2 people. Each person calling the other every other week for 6 weeks from Oct 19-Nov 30, 2020.

• The steps of maturity plays a part in how we each grow and Prepare our people. It will guide us in how to advance our people and act as a gauge of our spiritual maturity.
• Vision 2020 4 P's is meant help fuel the passion of God within us in a simple/easy to follow manner.  It is meant to be an ongoing path allowing us to go deeper into our walk with God and one another. 
• Vision 2020 is all encompassing and is designed to set a sound foundation for a growing relationship with Christ. Each of the 4 P’s is an essential pillar in the foundation and are integrated together in the life of a disciple “follower of Jesus”. We need to grow in each of the four pillars.

• Children and Youth can experience all aspects of the 4 P's too through Kids, Junior and Senior High ministries. They will have opportunities to Praise, Partner, Prepare and Proclaim.
• Children and Youth also look up to their parents and other adults. It is important that the adults have a passionate love for God using the 4 P's so Children and Youth can also follow their example.
• Adults can serve in these ministries providing them the opportunity to Prepare our Children and Youth to walk alongside them through all the stages of the 4 P's. 

• We understand that life can be busy. There are different levels of involvement available from one-time events, to 4-8 week courses (e.g. partnership program), or regular involvement in one of our ministries or small groups. As long as you are willing, we can find a way to connect you.
• As with anything in life, the more you put into it, the more spiritual growth you’ll experience.
• God may be asking you to review What is taking up your time?
• Are you placing Him as a priority? 
• Are you living in community and allowing fellowship to happen? 
• Are you learning more about God? 
• Are you living in a way for God to stretch you out of your comfort zone?

We have to abide with all government regulations and remain physically distant, but remember that we still need spiritual and social connection. We need to make the effort to remain connected through zoom, telephone or, if comfortable with physically distanced social visits.
